iAppGuru REVIEW: With MightyMeeting’s iPad application, traveling business executives and remote workers can turn their mobile devices into a powerful tool that allows them to share and showcase business content.  The application allows users to start or join Web meetings, show presentations and share content directly from their iPad devices.

PROs: Users can add content either by uploading it from a desktop or by sending it to an e-mail address associated with their MightyMeeting account. In addition to the native application for devices running iPhone OS, such as iPhone, iPad, and iPod Touch, MightyMeeting offers a lightweight HTML-only client that can be used to start and join Web meetings from any device with a Web browser.

CONs: MightyMeeting has introduce a Flash-based client to deliver an optimized experience for desktop users.  Unfortunately this service will not operate on your IPad.

In My Head Thoughts (for Assistants supporting IPad user)

“Assistants, this is a great application for you to work with. Simply, the only responsibility you will have is uploading the presentation, making sure he/she has the projector adapter and the IPad is fully charged. You can then send him/her on their way for client and staff meetings.

iAppGuru REVIEW: Think of this app as that corkboard in your office where you would tape, staple and pushpin any idea, contact number or to do on it. No more searching for that pen and paper to jot down a quick note or website you seen while traveling;  just turn on your IPad and post it to review  later.

PROs: This is a great app for the executives on the go. The little drawer at the bottom is like a supply cabinet. Another feature added  is that you can place a pass code lock on any of the boards so they are kept private. You can move around and resize items. You can have one big post-it note for example, that can have as much writing on it as a page in another writing app. You can choose the colour of the post-it note, a choice of four fonts, adjust the size of text, choose the type of text alignment.  You can embed corkboards within corkboards.  The corkboard always open by default to the last board you were working with. You can  choose another board by touching the back button and choose from any of the other boards in which you created.

CONs: It would be nice to have the corkboard pop up as soon as you turn on your IPad, but that is not the fault of the creator. Would be great to have an iPhone version that syncs with the iPad Corkulous.  Also, the creator needs to improve exporting the entire board to others via email instead of suggesting screenshot emails.

In My Head Thoughts (for Assistants supporting IPad user)

“Assistants move this app directly to the front screen, if you don’t he/ she will forget about it. Also this would be a great beginning of the day review to use with reminders, calls, blurbs for a meeting and even address.  I suggest just making he/she a to do list, letting them check it off as they go………simple”. They can make a screenshot from their IPad and email it you for followup.
